Visiting guests lead workshops including vary practical skill shares. On this occasion it was Jamshed who gave instruction in making sandals out of completely up-cycled materials-ones which we can mend and repair-reducing the waste stream and contribution to toxic shoe industries.

In our continued effort to minimize "waste" production (landfill) we can use repurposed materials to make appropriate old-tech shoes that one can self service.

The shoes are made out of:conveyor belting, old flip flops, strapping, used bike spokes and nails.
